ABOUT THE BOOK This poetry book consists of decades of work inspired by love, life, and spirit. Each poem has a unique place and symbolizes something or someone special. The first section focuses on love and different avenues of the heart. The second section talks about life and the many triumphs, obstacles, and challenges we face every day. The third section deals with inspiration. God and his love for us all. Tied together, this book is a combination of everyone's existence in some way. There will be at least one poem that the reader can relate to and should feel the passion behind its meaning. There are several poems that were written from personal experiences, and others that were inspired by other peoples stories or world events. The poem titled The Last Days was written after hurricane Katrina. Many of my family members were affected by this tragedy. My Greatest Fear touches many hearts because of the deep connection this poem brings. It symbolizes the one thing in this life we cherish most. Bringing another life into this world. It is moving and enduring. Click on Preview page tab at left column to read a few poems from the book. Click on How to order tab at left column for ordering information. |
